Indian Springs lost against Bayside Academy back in October of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Student took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Admirals. The Student's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Bayside Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mary Katherine Whitehurst led the charge by getting nine digs and one assist.

Indian Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Bayside Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-10.

Coming up, Indian Springs is taking a road trip to challenge Oak Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bayside Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Chelsea on the 20th.
