Football Recap: Hatboro-Horsham Comes Up Short

Hatboro-Horsham extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to eight on Friday, dropping them down to 0-6. They were outmatched by the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials and fell 42-9. The Hatters were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-3.

As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.8 points over those games.

Leading Plymouth Whitemarsh to victory were Michael Giangiulio and Cole Reilly. Giangiulio rushed for 167 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight carries, while Reilly threw for 81 yards and three touchdowns. Giangiulio is becoming a predictor of the Colonials' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Chase Felgoise also helped with two scores in total.
