Softball Preview: St. Paul Flyers vs. Seneca East Tigers

The St. Paul Flyers will head out on the road to square off against the Seneca East Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Paul is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, St. Paul came up short against St. Joseph Central Catholic and fell 14-10.

Geralyn Mutchler made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-3 with four RBI, a stolen base, and a run. Ella Kalizewski was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Seneca East's offense. They lost 17-0 to Mohawk on Friday. The shutout was out of character for Seneca East seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

St. Paul's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Seneca East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
