Ragland and Addison squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Ragland had to settle for second. They were dealt a 71-39 defeat at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Purple Devils' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Addison's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Seth Hammack led the charge by rushing for 115 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries. Those 115 rushing yards gave Hammack a new career-high. Michael Lee was in the mix too, providing Addison with one TD.

Ragland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-6. As for Addison, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

As of now, neither Ragland nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
