Basketball Recap: Banning Takes a Loss

Banning and University squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Banning had to settle for second. They took a 38-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the University Wildcats. The Pilots just can't catch a break and have now endured nine losses in a row.

University's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kahmron Hill, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Syrus Azarbarzin was another key player, putting up four points in addition to six boards and five steals.

Banning's defeat dropped their record down to 10-19. As for University, their record now sits at 10-16.

Banning does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for University, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-37 loss against Marquez on the 22nd.
