Volleyball Recap: Spring Hill Comes Up Short

Spring Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Columbia Christian Crusaders. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Crusaders when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Spring Hill sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 0-25, 15-0.

Spring Hill's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Columbia Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Spring Hill has already played their next contest (against Foreman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Columbia Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against New Life Christian Academy on the 27th.
