It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Rigby had no problem doing just that on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 42-28 victory over the Mountain View Mavericks. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Despite the loss, Mountain View still got an impressive performance from Henry Nelson, who threw for 265 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 42 yards and one score. The Mavericks are 5-1 when Nelson posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise. A healthy portion of Nelson's aerial production (85 yards to be exact) went to Denton Wilson, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Rigby's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Mountain View, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

Rigby has already played their next matchup, a 40-21 victory against Rocky Mountain on the 14th. Mountain View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
