Softball Recap: Dwight Comes Up Short

Dwight's last matchup with St. Bede could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Dwight Trojans lost 13-1 to the St. Bede Bruins. The Trojans have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meetings.

Mckenna Woodcock was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-2.

Dwight's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Bede, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Dwight will square off against Prairie Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Bede, they will welcome Newman Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
