Tahoma got themselves on the board against Kennedy Catholic on Tuesday, but Kennedy Catholic never followed suit. They blew past the Lancers 8-0. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The result came thanks to Alexa Ramirez's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up 12 Ks.

On the hitting side, Kalani Higa was incredible, firing off two home runs and one double while going 3-for-4. Those home runs were her first of the season. Mia Hammington was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Tahoma hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kennedy Catholic struck out 12 times.

Tahoma pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Kennedy Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Coming up, Tahoma will face off against Auburn at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bears are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Kennedy Catholic, they are taking a road trip to take on Kentwood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
