Football Recap: Plano Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Plano and Coppell squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Plano had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Cowboys 38-0. The shutout was out of character for the Wildcats seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

It was another big night for Carter Zingelmann, who threw for 248 yards and three TDs while completing 73.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 44 yards and one score for Coppell. A healthy portion of Zingelmann's aerial production (82 yards to be exact) went to Crew Davis, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

With the defeat, Plano broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-5. As for Coppell, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Plano does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coppell, they will be playing at home against Richardson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 864 yards in their previous games.
