Baseball Game Preview: Kamiak Knights vs. Lynnwood Royals

The Kamiak Knights will challenge the Lynnwood Royals at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kamiak will be strutting in after a victory while Lynnwood will be coming in after a loss.

On Monday, Kamiak was able to grind out a solid win over Everett, taking the game 4-1.

Andrew Fetty made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Fetty was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

In other pitching news, Blake Fischer looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

Fetty wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Malachi Noet, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Lynnwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 21-4 to Lakewood.

Kamiak now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lynnwood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Kamiak took their victory against Lynnwood in their previous matchup back in April of 2022 by a conclusive 10-0. Does Kamiak have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lynnwood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
