South Central strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Kiowa County Mavericks 58-0. Give the Timberwolves' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Coda Lindsay had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 189 yards and five touchdowns on only ten carries. Those 189 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Parker Price was another key player, picking up 87 receiving yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: South Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 278 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

South Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Kiowa County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. South Central will head out to square off against Macksville at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Timberwolves will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Kiowa County, they will head out on the road to take on Udall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
