Basketball Game Preview: Hancock Hawks vs. Presbyterian Christian Bobcats

Hancock is 0-4 against Presbyterian Christian since November of 2023 but things could change on Thursday. The Hawks will head out to challenge the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Hancock will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Harrison Central, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Hawks came out on top against the Red Rebels by a score of 67-58 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Presbyterian Christian). They walked away with a 78-65 win over Bay on Tuesday. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Presbyterian Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Hancock, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Hancock couldn't quite finish off Presbyterian Christian when the teams last played back in November of 2024 and fell 66-63. Can the Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
