Volleyball Recap: Hardee Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hardee can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Lemon Bay Manta Rays on Wednesday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20, 25-8.

Leading Lemon Bay to victory were Maisyn Pierce and Natalie Googins. Pierce had seven aces and five digs, while Googins had 12 digs and four aces. Those seven aces gave Pierce a new career-high.

Hardee's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Lemon Bay, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

Hardee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lemon Bay, they will host Dunedin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
