Football Game Preview: Central Indians vs. Park Hill South Panthers + Official Tickets

Central is 0-9 against Park Hill South since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Indians will head out to challenge the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Central will be strutting in after a win while Park Hill South will be coming in after a loss.

Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Excelsior Springs to the tune of 49-14 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Indians' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Tigers are ranked 205th).

Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braeyden Hale, who rushed for 55 yards, and also threw for 34 yards and one touchdown. Hale showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 55 yards. Kayden Fenwick was in the mix too, providing Central with two TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 295 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Meanwhile, Park Hill South played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against North Kansas City, falling 49-14. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Central's record is now 5-3. As for Park Hill South, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Central ended up a good deal behind Park Hill South in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, losing 34-16. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
