Sawyer Staudt Turns in Season-Best Effort
Priest River was led to victory by Sawyer Staudt, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Staudt wasn't messing around, rushing for 264 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. The matchup was his fifth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.

While Saturday's win was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Porter Lewis. He was dynamite on Saturday, rushing for 55 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 336 yards and a touchdown. He has become a key player for Kellogg: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise.
Kellogg's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. Lewis and Kellogg will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Priest River at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.
