Basketball Game Preview: Nova Titans vs. Haines City Hornets

The Nova Titans will face off against the Haines City Hornets at 6:20 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Nova ended up a good deal behind Miami Country Day and lost 62-46. The loss put an end to the Titans' undefeated start to the season.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was J'Yan Tyrell, who posted 15 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ke'Mora Evans, who had 15 points along with five boards and three steals.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Hornets on Friday. Haines City fell 52-41 to Bishop Moore.

Having lost for the first time this season, Nova fell to 2-1. As for Haines City, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
