Softball Recap: Stafford's Run of Four Straight Victories Now Over

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matchups, Stafford finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Sealy Tigers, falling 11-0. Considering the last time the Spartans couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

The loss snapped Stafford's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-7-1 record. As for Sealy, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.

The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.6 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
