Preview: Duchesne vs. Lutheran
Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Duchesne should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They looks to establish their home field advantage as they take on Lutheran at 7:00 PM. If the match is anything like the 46-38 finish from the last time they met, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-43, which was the final score in Duchesne's tilt against St. Charles last Friday. Duchesne were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-23.
Meanwhile, Lutheran didn't have too much trouble with Living Word Christian as they won 27-12. The Lutheran offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the matchup anyway.
Lutheran's win lifted them to 3-0 while Duchesne's defeat dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if Lutheran can add another positive mark to their record or if Duchesne can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Lutheran's step.
