Football Recap: Otis Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Otis can now relate to. They were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 31-30 to Peetz. Otis gained 77 more yards on the day, but it was Peetz that made the best use of them.

Austin Hornung threw for 59 yards and one touchdown. Gracen Bechtle was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards. On the ground, Mitchell Stivers rushed for 196 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.

Otis' loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Peetz, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Otis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Peetz, they will venture away from home to square off against Idalia at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
