Volleyball Game Preview: East Rowan Mustangs vs. South Rowan Raiders

The East Rowan Mustangs will be taking part in a tournament against the South Rowan Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

East Rowan extended their home winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Jordan Dry. The Mustangs put the hurt on Concord with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday for which the team can thank Dry, who had 14 digs and three assists. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

East Rowan never let Concord on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15, 25-15.

Meanwhile, South Rowan got the win against Northwest Cabarrus on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

South Rowan's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for East Rowan, their win bumped their record up to 18-10.
