Volleyball Recap: Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Snags 11th Win in Last 12 Games

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller extended their postseason success on Saturday against Dundy County-Stratton. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mustangs have posted since October 16th.

Leading Sumner-Eddyville-Miller to victory were Lily Hrasky and Jaycelyn Hoos. Hrasky had 19 digs, while Hoos had 23 digs, six kills, and three aces. Hoos is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mia Scoville, who had 13 assists and ten digs.

Despite the defeat, Dundy County-Stratton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bree Lutz had 40 assists and two aces.

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-7 record this season. As for Dundy County-Stratton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 27-8.
