Baseball Recap: Jones Eagles vs. Westmont Sentinels
Jones's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They skirted past the Westmont Sentinels 6-4.
Jack Hiltz made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Jones is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-3 otherwise. Hiltz was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024.
