It was a good run, but Stevenson unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Richmond-Burton Rockets. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rockets from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Stevenson still got an impressive performance from Ryler Bondad, who had 11 assists and six digs.

Stevenson's loss dropped their record down to 21-11. As for Richmond-Burton, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-6.

Stevenson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lake Zurich on the 22nd. As for Richmond-Burton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Rockford Christian on the 18th.
