Basketball Recap: Strong Rock Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Konos Academy last Tuesday, Strong Rock Christian came back down to earth. The Strong Rock Christian Patriots took a 40-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brookstone Cougars. The match marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Brookstone got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Reid Adams out in front who posted 14 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Chapman Dykes, who had 11 points and six rebounds.

Strong Rock Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Brookstone, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-7.

Strong Rock Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-40 loss against Flint River Academy on the 14th. As for Brookstone, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 52-49 win against Schley County on the 11th.
