Basketball Recap: Gold Beach Takes a Loss

On Monday, the Gold Beach Panthers came up short against the South Umpqua Lancers and fell 54-45. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gold Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for South Umpqua, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

While Gold Beach had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
