Volleyball Recap: Boynton Beach Wins Going Away Against Somerset Academy

The Boynton Beach Tigers made easy work of the Somerset Academy Wolf on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-8, 25-16.

Nassirha Cortez Bahamonde was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had eight aces. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high.

Cortez Bahamonde wasn't the only good servers: Boynton Beach was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 36 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in seven consecutive contests.

Boynton Beach now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Somerset Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Boynton Beach wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Santaluces on the 9th. Somerset Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
