McDonell Central came tearing into Saturday's game with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Osseo-Fairchild Thunder. The Macks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Thunder, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant McDonell Central was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-14.

Rylie Christianson paced McDonell Central's offense, picking up seven kills. Christianson got some help from Erin Siegenthaler and her 23 assists. Anne Siegenthaler controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

McDonell Central's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Osseo-Fairchild, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

McDonell Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Baldwin-Woodville on the 13th. As for Osseo-Fairchild, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Whitehall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Thunder their first taste of in-conference action this season.
