Basketball Recap: Cobi Obi Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Grace Christian Academy

On Saturday, the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Grace Christian Academy Rams, but they still walked away with a 57-52 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Greater Atlanta Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cobi Obi, who made all 5 shots she took racking up 13 points and seven rebounds. What's more, Obi also racked up two assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2023. Dru Jeckewicz was another key player, putting up 12 points and six rebounds.

Greater Atlanta Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Grace Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Greater Atlanta Christian will welcome White County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greater Atlanta Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.4 points per game this season. As for Grace Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-40 victory against Wesleyan Christian Academy on the 5th.
