Soccer Recap: Kent Island Falls Short of Parkside in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kent Island can now relate to. They lost 4-0 to the Parkside Rams on Wednesday. The shutout was out of character for Kent Island seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Kent Island has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6-1 record this season. As for Parkside, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-1-1.

Kent Island does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Parkside, they will take on Queen Anne's County on Friday. Queen Anne's County's last five contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
