Volleyball Recap: Marquette Takes a Loss

Marquette lost against Roanoke-Benson back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crusaders fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 2-1. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 27-25, 18-25, 27-25.

Marquette's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Roanoke-Benson, their victory bumped their record up to 10-23-1.

Marquette does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roanoke-Benson, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Ridgeview on the 27th.
