Woodberry Forest and Episcopal are an even 4-4-1 against one another since November of 2015, but not for long. The Tigers will host the Maroon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Woodberry Forest's defense has only allowed 12.9 points per game this season, so Episcopal's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Woodberry Forest took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They breezed past Fork Union Military Academy to the tune of 41-12. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won three matchups by 29 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 35-16 fall against Georgetown Prep. The contest marked the Maroon's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Woodberry Forest is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.3 points on average over those games. As for Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Woodberry Forest didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Episcopal in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with an 18-14 victory.
