Basketball Recap: St. Pius X Triumphs

St. Pius X won the last time they faced Robertson and things went their way on Friday too. The Sartans strolled past the Cardinals with points to spare, taking the game 59-42.

When it comes to explaining why Robertson lost, don't look at Nathan Gonzales. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Gonzales is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 14 games he's played dating back to last season. Misael Romero was another key player, putting up six points.
