Cape Fear Christian Academy hadn't done well against Kerr-Vance Academy recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won six matches in a row.

Cape Fear Christian Academy never let Kerr-Vance Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-9, 26-24.

Christianna Wynns paced Cape Fear Christian Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Wynns got some help from Kylie Kessler and her 11 assists. Wynns was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.
