St. Margaret won the last time they faced Westminster and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tartans managed a 7-3 victory over the Lions. Those seven points were actually the fewest the Tartans have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

One reason for the win was St. Margaret's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Caleb Beadel and Sawyer Collins, who each picked up 0.5 sacks apiece.

The win was the third in a row for St. Margaret's, bringing their record up to 6-4. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.0 points on average over those games. As for Westminster, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
