It was a good run, but Buchanan unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dowagiac Chieftains. The Bucks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chieftains earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Buchanan's loss dropped their record down to 16-10-1. As for Dowagiac, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-23-4 record this season.

Buchanan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Berrien Springs on the 25th. As for Dowagiac, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Brandywine on the 25th.
