Basketball Recap: East Clinton Takes a Loss

East Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Blanchester Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Astros have suffered since December 7, 2024.

East Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Blanchester, with the victory, they broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-10.

East Clinton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-42 defeat against Williamsburg on the 15th. As for Blanchester, they will venture away from home to square off against Clermont Northeastern at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
