Mendota is 8-2 against Tranquillity since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Mendota Aztecs will jump right back in to play the Tranquillity Tigers at 2:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Mendota easily dispatched Woodlake on Thursday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Mendota fell just short of Kings Christian by a score of 57-54 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Tranquillity ended up a good deal behind Caruthers on Friday and lost 55-37.

Mendota now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Tranquillity, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Everything went Mendota's way against Tranquillity in their previous matchup back in February, as Mendota made off with a 68-42 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mendota since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
