Softball Recap: Kaylin Rigby Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Doherty

Liberty's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They never let the Doherty Spartans get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Kaylin Rigby was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Selena Morales was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Liberty was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are 6-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
