Soccer Game Preview: Orange Lutheran vs. Servite

Orange Lutheran hasn't had much luck against Servite recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Orange Lutheran Lancers are taking a road trip to face off against the Servite Friars at 3:15 p.m. Orange Lutheran is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Orange Lutheran's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Santa Margarita by a score of 2-0. Given the Lancers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Eagles are ranked 102nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Maxwell Hernandez was the driving force of Orange Lutheran's attack as he scored both of Orange Lutheran's goals, bringing his season total up to three goals.

Meanwhile, Servite earned a 2-0 victory over St. John Bosco on Wednesday.

Orange Lutheran's record now sits at 9-5-3. As for Servite, their record is now 9-5-4.
