Volleyball Recap: New Brockton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

New Brockton came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Straughn Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Gamecocks in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-7, 25-9.

Straughn found their leader in sophomore Mckena Bailey, who had six digs and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Bailey.

New Brockton's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Straughn, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Brockton will challenge Charles Henderson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Straughn, they will square off against Geneva at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
