Flag Football Recap: Los Altos Comes Up Short

Los Altos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They lost to the Sunny Hills Lancers at home by a 21-6 margin. While losing is never fun, the Conquerors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 676th, while the Lancers are ranked 236th).

Los Altos' loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Sunny Hills, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-8.

Looking ahead, Los Altos will take on South Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies' defense has only allowed 9.4 points per game this season, so the Conquerors' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Sunny Hills, they will welcome Foothill at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Lancers 11.2, the Knights 9.3) so any points scored will be well earned.
