Basketball Recap: Rose Leadership Academy Triumphs

Rose Leadership Academy hadn't done well against Michigan Collegiate recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. It was close, but Rose Leadership Academy ultimately received the gift of a 70-68 win from a begrudging Rose Leadership Academy squad. They have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Michigan Collegiate, too.

The victory made it two in a row for Rose Leadership Academy and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Michigan Collegiate, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Rose Leadership Academy will head out on the road to take on Plymouth at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Michigan Collegiate and Dakota will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Dakota will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Michigan Collegiate surely won't give up without a fight.
