Volleyball Recap: Carpinteria Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Carpinteria got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hueneme Vikings, sneaking past 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Carpinteria got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 0-25, 25-0, 0-25, 16-0.

Carpinteria's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-7. As for Hueneme, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 4-7.
