Softball Recap: Waterbury Career Academy Takes a Loss

Waterbury Career Academy fell victim to Naugatuck and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 13-0 to the Greyhounds. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-0 loss on Tuesday.

Waterbury Career Academy dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Naugatuck, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Naugatuck will be playing in front of their home fans against Curtis at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. Waterbury Career Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Greyhounds' matchup: after the Greyhounds faces off against Woodland Regional, they'll take on Waterbury Career Academy again at 4:00 p.m.
