Soccer Game Preview: Carlmont vs. Menlo-Atherton

The Carlmont Scots will venture away from home to face off against the Menlo-Atherton Bears at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carlmont is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Carlmont gave up the first goal last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Aragon, sneaking past 2-1. Two seems to be a good number for the Scots as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Menlo-Atherton hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They and Burlingame finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Carlmont now has a winning record of 5-4-1. Menlo-Atherton's draw makes their record 8-0-3 this season.

Carlmont beat Menlo-Atherton 2-0 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Does Carlmont have another victory up their sleeve, or will Menlo-Atherton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
