Football Game Preview: Chadwick Dolphins vs. Flintridge Prep Wolves + Official Tickets

The Chadwick Dolphins will square off against the Flintridge Prep Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Chadwick is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 58-49 win over Sage Hill. The Dolphins' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Benjamin Wandrick had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 205 yards and two TDs while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. Those 205 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bryson Edgar, who rushed for 60 yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Chadwick was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 393 rushing yards. They are 6-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Meanwhile, Flintridge Prep faced Avalon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wolves blew past the Lancers 39-13. The Wolves' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Chadwick's record now sits at 7-3. As for Flintridge Prep, their record is now 8-0.

Things could have been worse for Chadwick, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 31-12 loss to Flintridge Prep when the teams last played back in October. Can the Dolphins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
