Volleyball Recap: Berean Academy Comes Up Short

Berean Academy lost against Halstead back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Dragons.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-7.

Leading Halstead to victory were Jordy Schroeder and Daynica Euwer. Schroeder had 20 assists, while Euwer had six digs and one assist. Schroeder is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

Berean Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5-1. As for Halstead, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

Coincidentally, Berean Academy and Halstead will both be playing Moundridge the next time they take the court. The Dragons will head out to face the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Warriors will head out to face them on Tuesday.
