Volleyball Recap: Havana's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Havana came into Monday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Midwest Central Raiders by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The Ducks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19.

Kaydi Miller paced Havana's offense, picking up seven kills. Miller got some help from Lillian Porter and her 11 assists. Porter and Miller didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Havana's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Midwest Central, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 7-7.

Coming up, Havana will challenge Peoria Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midwest Central, they are taking a road trip to square off against Mt. Pulaski at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
