Basketball Game Preview: Nandua Warriors vs. Pocomoke Warriors

Nandua is 1-6 against Pocomoke since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Nandua Warriors will challenge the Pocomoke Warriors at 6:00 p.m.

Nandua is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Saturday. They lost 63-39 to Delmarva Christian. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-16.

Meanwhile, Pocomoke didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Crisfield on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 59-54 victory.

Pocomoke's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-6. As for Nandua, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Nandua came up short against Pocomoke in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 64-56. Can Nandua avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
